27 Miles Fore 120 Smiles

This year I’m committed to helping 120 girls. I want to introduce them to the sport of golf in hopes that it can do for them even just a fraction of what it has done for me.

I plan to challenge myself to run “27 race miles” including a half marathon by May 30th, 2016 and I’m looking for donations. While cash is always king, it would be a real boost to my efforts if you came and ran a race mile (or 27) with me too!

Your donation will provide girls the opportunity to participate in a 6-week professionally-run Kate Tempesta’s Urban Golf Academy program. My basic goal is to raise $15,000 which will allow 120 girls who’d never have the opportunity to play golf to jump in and join the fun.

I’ll need your help to meet my lofty goal. And if it looks to you as rewarding and fun as it does to me, perhaps you’ll join my journey.
